Hann Yeoh

Hann Yeoh is a 3rd Generation leader of the YTL Group, one of Malaysia’s largest multi-national conglomerates and is the Executive Director of YTL Power International Berhad, one of Asia’s largest infrastructure and utilities companies, where he leads its infrastructure and digital venture arms.

YTL Power and its partner Sea Ltd was awarded one of five digital banking licences in Malaysia in April 2022. In digital infrastructure, YTL Data Centers launched the solar-powered YTL Green Data Center Park in Johor, offering 500MW of data center capacity – the largest of its kind.

In December 2023, YTL announced a partnership with Nvidia, one of the world’s largest technology companies to develop a 100MW AI Data Centre in its Johor campus to accelerate AI computing in the region.

He is a member of the board of Wessex Water in the United Kingdom as well as YTL PowerSeraya in Singapore. YTL PowerSeraya is the second largest producer of electricity and the largest energy retailer in Singapore, with 3,100MW of licenced capacity.

In the venture capital space, he is a founding partner of AC Ventures Malaysia and the SEA Frontier Fund, a US$ 50mil fund which invests in and partners with transformative technology companies in South-East Asia.

He is appointed as a permanent member in ABAC Malaysia from 23rd July 2024 to 31st December 2025.

He holds a Master and Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Engineering Science from Brasenose College, the University of Oxford where he was the recipient of the Gibbs Prize.

Hann was recognised as a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum in its Class of 2022.
