Jay Collins

Jay Collins is Vice Chairman of Banking, Citi and is Citi’s senior banker for governments globally. He has covered clients around the world in every significant sector and run transactions across Citi’s full product spectrum, including privatizations, liability management, infrastructure finance, structure products, digital solutions, and M&A.

Jay was Global Head of Citi’s Public Sector Group from 2005 to 2011. During 2006-2007, he was also Citi’s Global Head of Infrastructure. Prior to that, Jay was Head of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEEMEA) for Global Banking at Citi as well as the senior foreigner in Nikko Citigroup’s Investment Banking Division in Tokyo.

Jay has a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, where he graduated with Honors in 1989. He speaks Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish.
