Novan Amirudin

Novan Amirudin is the Group Chief Executive Officer and the Executive Director of CIMB Group Holdings Berhad, the 5th largest financial institution in ASEAN with a presence in 10 countries. Novan joined CIMB Group in 2022, initially as CEO of CIMB Investment Bank and Co-CEO of Group Wholesale Banking, and assumed the role of Group Chief Executive Officer in 2024.

Novan is a Chartered Accountant by training, with over two decades of experience spanning banking, capital markets, corporate finance and advisory across Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. Prior to joining CIMB, Novan spent close to 16 years with J.P. Morgan, with his last position being Head of Equity Capital Markets, Southeast Asia and Head of Investment Banking, Malaysia. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Novan was with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), specialising in Corporate Finance advisory.
