Rico Hizon is the award-winning news anchor of CNBC Business News, BBC World News, CNN Philippines and the ABS-CBN News Channel.

Rico was recognized as the Best Factual News Presenter. Grand Final Winner at the 2023 Asian Academy Creative Awards in Singapore and in 2024 Best News Anchor at the 28th Asian Television Awards in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

In his 25 years as an international broadcast journalist, he is the only South East Asian male anchor to work for two of the world’s most prestigious global news networks CNBC Business News and BBC World News and as he moved back to the Philippines, joined another powerhouse international news network in CNN Philippines.
